The trail route location was finalized and construction began in September 2004. The construction of the
Cape Scott Trail is being managed by a local consulting firm, Strategic Forest Management Incorporated, out of Port McNeill, British Columbia. The trail construction is being updated on this site with Progress Reports that will be posted here for reference.
